The work takes place in the (petro) chemical industry where activities related to engineering, (pre-) manufacturing and installation of pipelines, steel structures, equipment construction, repair of storage tanks, plant stops, maintenance, modification and new construction take place. Work generally takes place on the client's premises.
Maintenance is carried out on various equipment, piping systems, machines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, electric motors, steam turbines, fittings, etc. Troubleshooting by constructive cohesion of the parts of the machines to be repaired.
You have general knowledge of rotating tools, bearing and lubrication technology. You can read drawings (at detailed level) and process adjustments in the drawing and also determine adjustment data using manuals. You have knowledge and experience of how to check parts for malfunctions, how to disassemble, assemble, repair and overhaul parts, how to visually inspect parts and determine damages;

What is expected of you?
- High safety awareness, strictly following procedures and instructions
- Flexible deployment with varying working hours
- Keeping appointments
- Preferably a driving licence B and/or own transport (if not, transport can be arranged)
- A good command of the Dutch or English language
- VCA basic safety certificate
- MBO working and thinking level
- Knowledge of measuring tools and measuring protocols
- Knowledge and experience of machining and making parts using lathe, hand tools and auxiliary equipment
- Certificate Working on flange connections according to protocol (WFPr)
