What does the work entail?
Work takes place in the (petro)chemical industry where activities related to engineering, (pre)fabrication and installation of pipelines, steel structures, equipment construction, storage tank repair, plant stops, maintenance, modification and new construction take place. Work generally takes place on the client's premises.
You will perform work on pipelines, fittings, vessels, manholes, valves, pumps and heat exchangers, among others. The pipelines and components are of various diameters and of different materials.
Independently, according to drawing, assembling, mounting and disassembling pipelines, pipe parts, fittings and constructions to/in fraktion chambers, airfin benches, heat exchangers, stairs, platforms, conveyor belts etc.. As appropriate, assist the pipefitter in assembling pipe sections.

What is expected of you?
- High safety awareness, strict adherence to procedures and instructions
- Flexible deployment with varying work hours
- Keeping appointments
- Preferably driving license B and/or own transportation (if not, transportation can be arranged)
- A good command of the Dutch or English language
- VCA basic safety certificate
- VMBO working and thinking level
- Knowledge of structural cohesion of the parts of the machines to be repaired;
- Being able to read drawings
- Experience in machining and making parts using lathe, hand tools and tools
