What does the work entail?
Blasting work is mainly about making surfaces 'ready for coating' by removing old layers of paint by means of blasting. Blasting can be performed in a variety of ways, including grit blasting (with compressed air), wet blasting (with water) or high-pressure water blasting. The blaster uses various types of equipment in its work, such as grit blasting equipment (fixed and mobile) for blasting grit, hydro jet pump and manual tools. After the correct supply of the abrasive (e.g. grit), the objects are blasted according to the specified beam level. After removing the blasting grit and removing dust from the surface, a check is carried out on the quality of the work and the desired end result.

What is expected of you?
- High safety awareness, strictly following procedures and instructions
- Flexible deployment with varying work hours
- Keeping appointments
- Preferably driving license B and/or own transportation (if not, transportation can be arranged)
- A good command of the Dutch or English language
- VCA basic safety certificate (can be provided)
- SIR High Pressure Sprayer (can be catered for)
- LBO/MBO Technology or LBO/MBO level
