What does the work entail?
A fire marshal is under the direction and supervision of the client. He/she is expected to take measures and follow instructions prescribed within the work area to prevent fire in places where risks to persons and/or installations may arise as a result of work. In the event of a fire, it must be possible to intervene adequately, to alert bystanders and emergency services (company fire brigade/municipal fire brigade) and to fight the fire with the help of the fire-fighting equipment provided. Core tasks are supervising general (fire) safety, communicating with the client and the work team, as well as keeping time records

What is expected of you?
- High safety awareness, strict adherence to procedures and instructions
- Flexible can be deployed with varying working hours
- Keeping appointments
- Preferably driving license B and/or own transportation (if not, transportation can be arranged)
- A good command of the Dutch or English language
- VCA basic safety certificate
- LBO+/MBO work and thinking level
- Good communication skills
- National diploma Firefighter/Manschappen is an advantage
- Certificate Working as an Buitenwacht/Mangatwacht (in accordance with ssvv training guide)
- Certificate Gas Measurement (Ex-Ox-Tox) (in accordance with ssvv training guide)
- Certificate for small fire extinguishers (in accordance with ssvv training guide)
- Working with breathing air and medically examined
- The above education and training can also be provided.
